How we useyour details.

Epfop Ltd, trading as K2 Renovations. We decide how and why your details are used, which makes us the controller of them.

When you send an enquiry through the form, we receive:

• your name and email address;
• your phone number, if you give one;
• your area and the kind of project, if you choose them;
• the message you write.

If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we keep what you send us. If we work together, we also hold the address of your home, the details of the work, our proposal and our invoice and payment records.

Our hosting provider records technical details of each visit to the website, such as the IP address, the time and the page requested, in routine logs for security and reliability. The form also checks your IP address briefly in memory to stop repeated submissions. It does not store it.

• To reply to your enquiry, arrange a consultation and write your proposal. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering people who get in touch.
• To carry out the work, once you ask us to. Our legal basis is the contract with you.
• To keep the records the law requires, such as accounts and tax records. Our legal basis is a legal obligation.
• To keep the website secure and working. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest.

We do not use your details for newsletters or marketing, and we do not sell them.

The people at K2 Renovations who deal with enquiries and projects. Two service providers handle your details on our behalf:

• Vercel Inc., a US company, which hosts this website. The enquiry form runs on its servers in London.
• home.pl, based in Poland, which hosts our email. Your enquiry arrives in our mailbox there.

Where your details leave the UK, we rely on the safeguards that UK data protection law recognises for that. If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp handles the message under its own privacy policy.

We share your details with anyone else only where the law requires it.

• Enquiries that do not lead to work: 12 months after our last contact with you. Then we delete them.
• Records of work we carry out: for as long as the law requires us to keep accounting and tax records. Then we delete them.
• Server logs: for the short period our hosting provider keeps them.

You can ask us for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, ask us to restrict how we use them, and object to our using them.

If you are unhappy with how we have used your details, email hello@k2renovations.co.uk. We acknowledge a complaint within 30 days, keep you updated and tell you the outcome.

This website does not use cookies or similar technologies on your device, and it has no analytics or advertising services. Its fonts and images come from the website itself. If that changes, we will update this notice and, where the law requires, ask for your consent first.
